Yummy! This sounds like fun. I am making this with my kids!
Here’s a recipe that I learned and personalized years ago based on the children’s story “Stone Soup.” You don’t have to use an actual stone of course, but it’s a great recipe to go along with the book.” My kids love it!
1 lb. ground turkey
2 tablespoons of canola oil
1 large package of frozen mixed vegetables
2 large white potatoes
1 large can of condensed Tomato soup
2 cloves of garlic
1 large onion
1 cup chopped celery
Heat oil and the brown ground meat in soup pot. Add chopped onion, garlic and celery. Pour in condensed soup along with 2 cans of water. Pour frozen veggies and chopped potatoes on top, stir over heat continuously until boiling. Lower heat. Simmer for at least an hour. (You can omit the meat and add more veggies for vegetarian soup!)
The delicious aroma will fill your house! Great…
